What so-nu is
so-nu is a nomadic teahouse. We gather for one evening at a time, in a space that fits, and follow a simple ritual: the first tea poured for you, a bento for dinner, an artist somewhere in the night, the pot never empty. Nobody hurries you — stay for one tea or the whole evening.
How the night unfolds
Sessions
Always the same ritual — never the same night twice.
Arrive
Shoes off, phone away. Take a cup — the first tea is poured for you, with a small surprise.
Bento
Dinner arrives as a bento — few things, done attentively, one at a time.
The artists
At some point, you'll be invited to receive work from a guest artist — when, and how, is up to them.
Last tea
The music settles, the last pot is shared.
Stay for one tea or the whole night — leave whenever you like.
